Suggests that asking the next generation of students about IT in learning is like asking a fish to describe water! i.e. it is such an integral part of the environment that it seems so obvious... they will be here soon!

This is an excellent point. It would seem that only in academia can the utilisation of ICT global techno-capitalism be seen as separable from work-based learning. This points to the trouble we're in - that we're so staggeringly untouched by ICT that it is seen as optional.
